    Cards/Cubs
Piniero's day splits are horrendous. Tough to back the Cards here IMO.

Think Lilly can shut the Cards out today, lefties tend to do well against them.

        Good luck to all.

The Cardinals do hit much better on the road against lefties than they do at home though.

They've been shut down in successive days by a qualify lefty for the Cubs and a so-so one in Marshall. Lilly is better than both those guys. I'm playing the total, only factor is what is Piniero going to do? He's been solid so far, so the Under (yikes) is my lean right now.

I think the play is Cubs -130...Cardinals have been baffled by the Cubs lefties this year...Marshall no hits through 3 yesterday, Rich Hill had a no-hit type performance a few months back.

I think Cubs take this one.

Well, not looking good for cubbies. I thought with Lilly out there, great chance for Cubs....Lets score some runs!!

Not really looking all that great for the Cubs IMO. Pinearo has retired the last seven Chicago hitters.

Yep. Cubbies were hitting balls hard against him, couple line outs, line drive singles, doubles but only out of the stretch. He looks suspect once in the stretch. Out of the windup he looks more solid.
