Barry or no Barry, this is just too much value to pass up. Yes, the Marlins are looking to avoid four-game home sweep, but that in itself is not enough reason for this team that is just 27-37 at home to be -175 here. As bad as Russ Ortiz is, Mitre has only had one good start in his last five, and he was torched by Arizona last time out.

I disagree for the simple fact that you are giving -1.5 with a team that is 10 games under .500 at home. I would want a helluva lot more than +115 to do that.

if you take a look at the florida marlins in day games,they have won 3-1 ballgames by more than 1 run.so that is saying if florida wins,chances are 3-1 that they win by more than 1.thats my reasoning
