Cardinals +121 vs. Capuano - Who's Coming with Me?
Brewers have not won a Capuano start since the days of George Scott and Cecil Cooper!

I thought cap won in mil on 5/02
    but lost
    in st lou 7/28

considering mil dropped the last 3 to st lou in st lou
I have to side with mil here tonight

kip has pitched better past couple but is as bad as cap
only thing cap has going for him is his track record of starts vs st lou

    good luck LT

I was originally going to do with the Cardinals for this game, but I reviewed some things even closer, I think the brewers are going to come away with the win here tonight, Kip wells does have a great ERA over the past 30 days, but I got a feeling the Brewers are going to raise that ERA of his tonight.

15th trip to the hill is the charm for Capuano.

Home teams is 7 - 2 in the series with the two road wins by the Brew Crew. Brew Crew has hit Kip hard the last two games out. Capuano might not be the reason the Crew wins but his 14 game streak has a great chance to end tonight.

Well I guess the obvious question would be is anyone willing to lay -131 that the 14-game losing streak comes to an end? I'd rather be on the streak at these + odds, and if the Brew Crew finally wins for him, so be it. I just think the value is too much to pass up.

I'm passing on this game completely LT. Both these pitcher are just piss poor, and I want nothing to do with either of them.

                    AC,

Total pass on Reds game. Big Z is tough, but I don't lay that much chalk.

                      Dan,

Wells has had four Quality Starts in his last five outings, and they weren't just marginal QS's either: 0, 2, 0, 2 earned runs allowed.

LT, betting on a pitcher because of W/L record is like betting on a college team because you like the mascot or betting on a horse because you like it's name.

                            Razz,

I thought you knew me better than that.

W/L record is the WORST criteria to use when evaluating a pitcher. I stated Wells' merits above and Capuano has not had that many tough-luck losses during his streak. The 14 losses in a row is just a bonus.

St Louis has the best ERA in baseball last 7 games, no one else is even close.

Milwaukee has the worst ERA in baseball last 7 games, no one else is even close.

                              Do the math.

I took St Louis last night at +129 for $200

The delay was due to honoring the '82 Brewer team before the game
