Does 8.5 look high here with Peavy on the mound?

Cincinatti's bullpen has been terrible lately, and the padres lineup hits Cinci's starter pretty good.

I'm guessing Cincinatti scores 1 run, but San Diego?

Thinking San Diego big and backing up with under. Can not see Peavy losing game if 9 or more runs scored.

I have san diego ML...don't know about the total

I have been toying with betting teams I like in two 2 pick parlays: ML and UNDER 2-1
RL and OVER 3-1 (using SD as an example)

So, if you bet say 100 on the first parlay and 75, you end up with 100 wins 125 or +125 instead of the ML which is -150.

But, of course you are giving up 1 1/2 runs if the game is a high scoring game.

          Well

I took Cinni cause I like those odds, even though Jake is pitching Arroyo has pitched well recent, give me a team with there ace going plus odd,
          ill take that bet

It's tricky, but first of all, Arroyo is very volatile, and if he is off today, SD will come close to 8.5 all by themselves. Second of all, yes Peavey is great, but he can give up a few here and there. And third of all, like yesterday, when the bullpens get involved, the runs could pile up quickly. It's a tricky play, but I actually took the over for a little in this one.
