You're getting a pretty good price if you go with the Rockies.

    Culled from FoxSports:

    The Good
    Cook (8-6, 4.13 ERA)

1.82 ERA in four starts since the break.

Has won his last three outings, posting a 1.52 ERA while allowing only 16 hits in 23 2-3 innings in that stretch.

Has never won four consecutive starts in his six-year career,

"He's just in a good zone now," manager Clint Hurdle said. "There's less effort, more power, more sink, more crispness to his slider."

    The Bad
Cook is 0-1 with a 5.81 ERA in six career games - four starts -against the Braves.

He's also 1-4 with a 5.31 ERA in day games this year

    Chuck James
Atlanta will send Chuck James (9-8, 3.70) to the mound, hoping that the left-hander can overcome his struggles against the Rockies.

James is 1-0 with a poor 8.03 ERA in three career games, including two starts, against the Rockies.

In his lone start against them this season April 27, he was reached for four runs in 5 1-3 innings, but got the win in Atlanta's 9-7 victory.

Like Cook, James has pitched well since the break. He is 1-1 with a 2.63 ERA in four second-half starts, and 3-1 with a 2.27 ERA in six outings since June 29.

The Braves are banged up. I don't think Andrew isn't going to play today. Edgar is on the DL. Chipper is having issues with his thumb.

As a Braves fan, I hope they win, but I don't think I'll put money on it.

          crayzee,

That, no doubt, was the turning point.
