You would do well to fade me as I actually won a parlay off the old 2-Step yesterday! So there ain't much of a chance that I'd cash two in a row.... so let's get ballsy. And yes the irony of actually picking both Texas teams is not lost on me.

What's to like about Jason Jennings? How about he had his best moment in an Astros uniform driving in the winning run in the 13th inning vs. ATL a couple nights ago. Oh and he's 2-0 with a small ERA at Dolphins Stadium for his career. 2007 for Jennings ... be damned!

" Mike Wood (1-1, 5.40) is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma to start on two days' rest for Texas in place of Kameron Loe, who will go on the 15-day disabled list with stiffness in his lower back.

"I've battled this kind of stuff before," Loe said. "It usually clears up in two to three days. This one is going to take a little longer. Being a tall guy, I have lower-back issues every once in a while."

Wood has made five appearances, including four starts, for the Rangers this season. He scattered five hits in five innings of a 4-0 win over Oakland on May 29, which was his most recent outing.

Wood, who was 9-3 with a 3.23 ERA at Triple-A, won't likely go deep into Saturday's game after throwing 81 pitches over eight innings in a victory over Fresno on Wednesday.

He is 1-0 with a 6.35 ERA in two career relief appearances versus the Blue Jays."

Looks like my wager will be voided. I placed it specifically with Loe pitching only. Right now that looks like a life saver. But there's still many innings to go. Might risk HOU tonight still just for kicks.
