Lincecum +100 vs Cold Hitting Dodgers..

Was expecting the Giants to be favored here. Lincecum has been awesome lately and the Dodgers bats haven't exactly done much lately.


Dodgers hitting last 5 games: .235 2nd behind the Nats as the coldest team in baseball LAST 5 GAMES..


Mark Hendrickson is beatable (4.58 ERA) and will likely only pitch 5 innings.

Why not take the young stud at +100?

Yeah, that's a tricky one. I actually like the Dodgers. First of all, I am assuming Bonds won't play - day game after night with a lefty going, although possibly he will. Second of all, the Dodgers have a balanced lineup, I don't see them in any real negative offensive light right now. I think it's likely that Hendrickson will have a comparable start to Lincecum, and I think the Dodgers will have a good edge after that.

I actually like the Dodgers here, although I admit it's a somewhat unusual game from a capping perspective.

Yes it is, I guess I got it confused with the Oakland game. So Bonds will probably play, but I still like the Dodgers for the reasons I wrote about.
