I like the PHI/CUBS pick as well...both have solid offenses and have been winning. Over 8 run line looks good. Strictly picked winners...and a hell of a lot of losers as well....playing almost every game everyday straight up to win is not exactly a winning formula.

well in this matchup since 2001 the total was 7.5 twice before today

once in philly once in chicago

both times philly won 4-2 ,4-3

I like to go with what occured previously

any and all times I look up past history stats and the total set at 7.5 I usually see under except when det faces oakland over 7.5 I don't check for totals often since I don't play them but when I do I see what I wrote.

I don't bet totals but giving my input on what I would bet if I were to bet

not to mention both starters are more than capable of keeping it low if they can last and the pens don't fvck it up.

I normally never explain what I think just give the side I like.

take it or leave it bet what you like as I am not good at picking totals which is why I don't.

As I write I see it is in the 3rd 3-0 philly

According to my records, this year 7.5s are almost exactly 50/50. Last year they hit at about 58% over.

I guess with the positive/negative odds on totals makes the difference of being up or down since all are not -110 some -130 some +120 etc....

make it 3 in a row in 6 years both ways
