    Power EDGE over / under
I also followed the Over / under yesterday and it went 6 out of 7.
    Experimenting w/ these today.
    Det / LA = Over 10
    Oak / Seattle = Under 9
    Texas / Kansas = Over 9
    Boston / Tampa = Over 10
    Washington / Mets 1st game = Under 8

I also wagered on the power edge of Washington and Boston.
We might of found something here..

Not sure about the others but would be careful on the Texas/KC game as Millwood was injured during a stretch of the season and is in great form right now. I don’t see KC putting up a lot of runs on him and while Perez has had a tough season this will be Texas’s first look at him since he came over from the National League. I saw this line open at 10 and drop to 9 ½, where are you getting 9 from? Good Luck to you.

Well to start off I like the over 8 in the Wash/Mets game 1. I don't like it an enormous amount, but I do like it solidly. We'll see.

I wagered $50 on each team as an experimental try out. At most I'm hoping it breaks even or ahead. Will see at the end of the day. GL to all that follows.

I also FORGOT to put down the big play of the day.
PHI / PITTS = OVER 10. After looking back Mark09 you might be right about the Texas / KC game. Unfortunately i'm not able to void my wager so I just Up my wager on the Phi/Pitts game.

What I mean by edge play

I want to make sure everyone is clear on what I mean by edge play.

On the matchup page there is a box titled Power Rating Line. In that box there are two columns on the right hand side of the box under the heading Power Line which are titled Estimate and Edge. If the odds available are significantly better than the Power Line Estimate, then that team is designated as having an Edge and there is a green star in the Edge column for that team.

This is different than what trifectabx is doing. He is looking at the O/U statistics and determining for himself if there is an edge in that game for the O/U. I'm not saying that trifectabx does not have a good idea, I just don't want people to get confused by the usage of the word "edge" in this case. Of course if these OVER/UNDER plays are consistent winners I won't care what you call them. LOL.

Well you could always just bet the under to "void" it....

I'm with you on the under for Nats/Mets Game 1....

Good Explanation Curious. Just as long as we have a little edge in our favor that hopefully works.

The site has had trouble today I couldnt get to it at first. I went to mlb than to matchups. I couldnt get to it from the fight where it lists the scores and game. Also I posted one the first power thread, I subscribe to a service that plays one play. They do not play every day. I have been with them for on month. They are 13-7 for the month. 11-2 before the allstar break. Anyway they took MIL in the second game. I will lay lumber on this one.. I hope your power line works.. Keep up the good work curious!!

The A's poor offense helped that under and M's win. 15 base runners and 3 runs.

Detroit catcher had the guy out (in the bottom of the 8th) by 10 feet, and then dropped the ball. Score was 6-3 at the time, and there were 2 out. Game would have finished there, as Detroit didn't score in the 9th. What a rotten way to lose my under play!

Yeah, I was on the under as well. Garret Anderson's "3-run HR" in the 8th also didn't help. The fan clearly interfered with the ball. Tough loss. Congrats to the over backers.

The crackhead goes up to the plate with a cracked bat? In a major league game? Don't they have people that check for that? Ortiz needs to go to the minors where he belongs. Crackhead.

Power Edge is what Curious discovered. 0-2 :-( so far today, depending on what Boston does.. Those are straight TEAM picks not over / under.
I experimented w/ the OVER / UNDER and it went 6-0 TODAY. Including the BIG play for PHI/PITTS.

The Power Line Edge picks are 0-2 so far today, with Boston still playing. Since I have been tracking them, they are 6-2.

Trifectabx is working on the Over/Under from the power line, today he is 6-0, and I think he was 5-0 yesterday.

I think we should combine the two. I'll talk to trifectabx about it. Maybe we can have a daily report with both.
