Danny boy Haren at -125 tomorrow
Or today... depends on when you're reading this...

Anyway, Haren getting a modestly priced line at Seattle against a "slapper" type of lineup for the most part. In 2 starts against Seattle this season, Haren is 0-2 despite superb marks of 2.19ERA and .216 BAA. He's gotten no support whatsoever. Meanwhile, one of the worst SP's in the league, Mr (or Mrs.) Jeff Weaver, will be opposing them. Weaver's 2-8 record, 6.19ERA, 1.58WHIP may just sound merely horrific, but did you realize the opposing batters are hitting .320 against him for the season? .320!!! Lay the wood on Haren at -125 (though that line seems remarkably low) and rest easily tomorrow.

baba...for the season weaver sucks but the last 2 months he's been on fire...last 8 starts given up 3 runs or less 7 times, and the other one he gave up 7 to DET. 4 starts this month...gave up one run in 3 of them..with a start in oak on july 6 being one of them.

I'm leaning towards Seattle in this game. I don't think I'll bet it because Seattle's offense can't be trusted but I like them as dogs at home against Haren who is coming back to Earth and that sub-par Oakland offense.

That was a sweaty little game until the ninth. Thanks Nick Swisher!
I've gotta say that the line movement confused me, as I was expecting it to move towards -130. I bet it at -125 last night, then doubled up when it hit -119, thinking the movement had capped out but I think it got to -115 or so...

That completed a 3-team parlay (OAK ML ,ATL/SF Under and LA ML--another squeaker) and those two separate straight plays. Nice day.
