#2Granderson is going to have a great season - the change of scenery will do him well. A much more hitter friendly park, a team that emphasizes patience at the plate, better hitters ahead of him and behind of him. He may hit the 35-35 club this year (is that even a club?), although I doubt his batting average will break 290. That's just my initial reaction to the trade, though. Haven't looked at his numbers in a while.Comment -

#3I REALLY want Matt Kemp this year. I feel like he's going to have a MVP-type season. I also feel like Matt Wieters has good value this year. He has the green light to hit aggressively in that lineup. Go get em.Comment -

#4He is definitely going to have better numbers, for all of the reasons you mentioned. But will he be able to hit left-handed pitching? He hit .183 against lefties last year.Originally posted by rob11234Granderson is going to have a great season - the change of scenery will do him well. #5I don't think that is something you can predict which sucks for his draft stock ... but maybe a change of scenery will light of fire .. either way .. that is risky business with all the lefties he can see again while still being in the AL ... not quite sure where I have him in my mock draft but I will update this when I doOriginally posted by dmtraderHe is definitely going to have better numbers, for all of the reasons you mentioned. #6Yes I like Wieters as well... I think he is so ready to go as well as fairly hyped up so his keeper status isnt as great as last year .. you probably cant get him as late this year .....Originally posted by mebaranI REALLY want Matt Kemp this year. As for Kemp .. I want to do a little more research, but I hope your right ... might build him into my draft strategy

#7Wieters is a guy I had on my roster like 5 times last year waiting for him to do work...never really happened on a consistent level...I was all over Sandoval all year though...that was nice. I also rode Russell Branyan a lot of the year...he was available and didn't cost me anything in draft. Might be a guy (if he signs, I assume he will!!) to get in one of later rounds if he's there!Comment -

#12i've got a few keepers i'm trying to decide between... buster posey, rasmus, de la rosa, and carlos gonzales. all 4 are really cheap in an NL auction keeper league where salaries increase each yr.
I can keep 2 of the above (since I already have my other keepers decided on).
what do you think?Comment -

#18I'm in a 12 owner keeper league. We get to keep 2 players season to season. I already know I'm going to hang onto Joe Mauer.
I'm struggling whether to keep Jimmy Rollins or Matt Holliday. At this point, I'm leaning towards Rollins as the SS position isn't nearly as deep, and he turned the corner the second half of last after a very slow start. Any advice, am I making the wrong choice?Comment -

#22Hey sorry for the late response.... I really like Buster Posey to make a flier for the majors and maybe steal good pt BUT!!! Molina is back, so value might not be there for a while... also Colby has stud written all over him. I don't think a platoon should really even be a problem so he's def a must-keep. As for De La Rosa... his numbers weren't always pretty and he stuggled to stay consistent so with those other two I would drop him. Gonzales has great upside, but with saying that I really like the other 2 you have ...Originally posted by clarkd32i've got a few keepers i'm trying to decide between... buster posey, rasmus, de la rosa, and carlos gonzales. all 4 are really cheap in an NL auction keeper league where salaries increase each yr.

#23Out of these 2 I say Rollins. Rollins knows his antics will not be put up with anymore and he needs to be consistent to be relied on for that very, very good team. He has tons of power around him. As for Holiday I think you can get someone else with better value there as like you said the SS is quite thin and Rollins is the 2nd if not the 1st SS off the board.....Originally posted by Regul8erI'm in a 12 owner keeper league. #27Tough decision, but Holliday is going to get a lot of protection if he stays with STL, he will have a ton of protection in that line up and I think you can fill the SS position with someone cn produce decentlyOriginally posted by Regul8erI'm in a 12 owner keeper league. #35He will start the season strong, how he does later in the year all depends on how well the 21 year old is able to handle his first complete major league seasonOriginally posted by mlbhow do you think bumgarner will do?
I'm a little concerned that his velocity was down when he was called up last year, the scouting report claimed that he could hit upwards of 95 on the gun but he was struggling to hit 90.
He has wicked breaking stuff and uncanny control of the strike zone for such a young kid so if he indeed can hit 95 or even 93 its only a matter of time before we are looking at another absolute young gem.
The future is bright in San Francisco
