OVER the Top - July 23
Another even steven day on Sunday, 1-1-0.

    MIL-CIN +9 (-120)
Despite Harang's sparkling record and ERA at home (5-1, 3.32), his home starts have gone over in 6 of 9 games which of course means his offense is banging around the opposition. Harang is also on a good run with 6 of his last 7 overall starts going over. On the other side, Capuano has had trouble lately. Of his last 5 road starts, only one has seen him hold the opposition under 4 runs and in that one he lasted only 3.1 innings. Even when the Reds haven't hit, their pitching has usually been generous enough to get the over. Here's hoping that trend continues.

    NYY-KC +10 (-110)
I know, I know. The Yankees bats are bound to ease up some day, but I say not today. They're clobbering lefties to the tune of .349 in their last 10 and Odalis Perez has an ERA of 6.48 at home. Somehow he is even on overs/unders at 4 a piece at home. Clemens seemingly has found his groove at home, but has yet to turn in a great start on the road. A 7.62 ERA tells us that. He's given up at least 4 earned in those road starts (3) and with KC's bats showing some life against a decent DET pitching staff, I think they can get to Clemens enough to give the over a good chance if the Yanks stay hot on offense.

**I'm not advising a play on this one, but a little tidbit. Johan Santana's last 6 starts have gone 4-1-1 in favor of the over. Marcum has been a bit more hittable lately for TOR. At 8 runs and even odds, this is an intriguing pick to me although there aren't alot of signs that would tell you it will hit over 8.**

I'm surprised that Clemens is struggling like this on the road, hopefully the Royals only inflate those numbers tomorrow.

I agree Mr.Eagles, the Yankees game should go over in this game.

I think the Yankee's bats will die in this one. Playing a double header and flying to KC may suck the juice right out of them.
