The first college games start on Thursday, August 30th I believe. Unless you like betting on preseason NFL, that is Sunday, August 5th. The Regular season starts on Thursday, September 6th.

Dammit all, after he lucked, and I do mean LUCKED out last night with that White Sox win (they didn;t deserve to win that game in any way), and lucked into a Cinci win, I realized my 1 day tail was over. We all have bad days though, and I agree: if he comes back and takes his beatings like a man, I'll be cool with it. Maybe he can post a winning record over the week/month/etc. The point is, if people are misinterpreting his unit structure, they'll go broke after a couple days of losses like this. I looked at his card and immediately saw a bad day. Razz, congrats on KC. That was my #1 play and your write-up won me over to play it for a tad more than I would have. Seemed like a perfect combo of overvalued Detroit and Meche not getting the credit.

Take TOR as well....Weaver has been pitching good lately but he pitches like crap when having to start on the East Coast...DET will be the big play though, and the first yankee game should be good...that was embarrassing, and with a double header they will come out strong in the first game.

I'll tell you what. I know that nobody is seeing what I'm seeing but that Verlander kid out in Detroit is a decent pitcher! I've been looking really closely at the stats so I know what I'm talking about. And Detroit is one hell of a team that nobody is taking notice of. Hell, they've got the best record in all of baseball. I bet nobody knew that!!! I'm telling you Verlander and his Tigers are really flying below the radar. The books and the public are fooled on this one. The price for Detroit should be about -5000. Everybody loves the Royals. They're virtually America's Team so everybody bets them even when they don't have a chance to win. I'm telling you guys, Detroit is a LOCK tonight. Take them at any price and you'll make loads. Bet thousands and thousands of units on them.
