    That Cubs lineup is downright pitiful, but they've been finding ways to score. 8 runs though with these two lineups today, I dunno. I can't do an under, but I don't know if I can do the over either.

      The Cubs lineup isn't pitiful at all. Missing Lee and Floyd and Ward is not going to hurt them as much as it may seem. Moore is probably a fine replacement for Ward.

        Arizona must be fielding the worst offense in baseball at this point in the season. Virtually impotent.

            I would take Oakland's current lineup over Arizona's without even a half-second of hesitation, although it appears the A's were dealt another blow with Swisher getting banged up tonight.

            Arizona's 4-9 is like a team of decent-hitting pitchers. They had DaVannon at leadoff tonight with his .133 average! Even a pitcher might be unhappy with a batting average like that. You have to be both bad and unlucky to hit that poorly.
