I am not going to place a single real wager I think until Mid May to June, but until then I am going to post 1 unit plays just for fun to test out a Spring training system. I have never tried this so let's see how it goes:

It's not a joke by any stretch of the imagination and I apologize for not getting your user-name right. For some reason the r key doesn't always work unless I slow the keystroke down. Probably will get another keyboard next time I go out if I remember.

I totally understand. I was just trying to get records straight. No worries. I hope to have a prosperous MLB season, and can't wait for the real stuff to start.

I really like DET to win AL central, especially with Nathan just having the injury today, maybe missing the entire season. However, the Twinkies seem to play boring, solid ball and always end up around the top of the AL Central.

I still like DET though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first season MN is not in their dome? The White Sox it seems are always giving DET fits and this division will probably go down to the last week. It should be a compact race.

Yup, this is the Twins first season in their new place. And the White Sox do seem to give DET problems. I also think it's going to come down to the last week, just like last year and maybe the Tigers won't choke this time.

That would be nice but ideally I'd like to see them (DET) have it wrapped up long before then. Which gives credence to the statement, every games means something - if a team gets off to a hot start, 35-5 ring a bell, they can normally let some of the game to game pressure off during the last month. What a team does in April is as important as what they do in September - at least in my eyes.
