1st week is behind us and I want to thank everyone for there post in this thread , I also want to thank TA for allowing us to come here and trade info and to learn from each other , lets keep it clean this year guys and I look forward to learning all season long...

Sunday ended up 6-6-0 and was +8.35 units.
Thanks to all who've posted in here this past week.
Some days we won, some we didn't but overall it's nice to be able to read the thread without all the trash that other threads have and for that, thank you. Last reminder to cherry pickers, it's not your best move - play them all matching unit for unit or none of them. However, if you do, match and wager them all, you should have a nice stash by season's end - even when you may not get why I'm on a certain team, total or side.

tough last few days. white sox aren't hitting, st louis makes a huge run late only to lose and screw up 2 of my parlays. Mets lose to the awful Nats and cost me 2 parlays. living to see another day, and hoping to bounce back with some new action.
i swear i'm done with parlays. I win 4 of 5, 3 of 4 and 2 of 3 whenever i make a parlay. screw it!Comment -
Yet, Mybolgne, we survived and are able to maintain the course. Don't get me wrong, those White Sox games hurt the accounts but we're still up for the year. You're welcome and looking forward to some depth to your posts this week.

You're right the last few days have given some tough losses but yet, here we still are cash positive for the season. I'm not one to tell you or others how to wager but what I will share with you is this - either stop or cut back on the parlays as they are money burners. Perfect example, I've made over 150 wagers and off the top of my head don't recall their being more than 2 (if that). WA will win at odd times this season but hang in there as you weren't alone in losing that game - all the more reason to maintain smaller units than you think you can afford to ensure you're around for the entire season. Remember Sunday's games are over, we can not change them but we can learn from the losses and we move forward to Monday.

I told myself I was done with parlays a few days ago, and then made a whole bunch of parlays which of course were 'sure things'
Mets lose, STL loses and I took a stupid 10 unit hit on 6 parlays I wish I had back. Even worse, I know better. But alas, I'm still up about 20 units for the baseball season and I consider it lesson learned.Comment -

I lost 3k on one NBA game to day by 1 point by using multiple accounts - it happens is the point. I will survive as will you. If you attempt to recoup it all in one wager, you're asking for trouble. It's far better, safer and smarter to use multiple wagers to regain your losses unless you have an account with upper five-digits and if you do, go for it - you might get lucky. As for which
at this point in the season neither from this end.

Could not agree more about following every single play you have. The first two days i left out one game each cause i had a lean on the other team and passed on the game and you hit both... good learning lesson as i have played everything exactly as you have it listed! Quick question if you don't mind me asking. What percent of your bankroll is your unit? We saw some pretty high unit plays this week. Thanks again and to a great first week!

Way to grind it out VegasPlayer - records don't need to be pretty as all that matters is + or - at the end of the nights' wagers.

I hope you're done with them Jeff - at least for the time being. Rebuild your account and if the need arises, maybe one or two per 100 wagers, do half a unit. Yes, you'll see some parlays in here from me, but not very often unless the process indicates over a 98% chance of success. If you've played everything but one game, you should be up a significant portion from Spring Training. I'm using $100 for this season unit, same as last year and the year before, and the year before etc. Which is why I can not stress it enough to have multiple good reliable outs as you've seen around $3,000 has been wagered in a day. Long as people keep their eyes on the big picture (season) things will continue to be fine but if/when a person frets over a bad run and they will happen at least twice this season then they are over their comfort zone and should scale back. Let's hope this week will be more profitable than last week.

For the price i love Harden and Texas in Cleveland. The guy struck out 8 in 3 and 2/3 against the hot jays.
Dempster had an impressive first start and it will be the cubs first game at home I would like to think they can muster enough runs to beat doug davis.
As good as Wandy is at home he had a 4.00+ era on the road yesterday. Cards roll
I like Ryan Roland Smith to bounce back and I think Seattle returns the favor to the A's at home.

i´m happy you took the tigers today too. as you can see in my thread i´ve got an mixedsportparlay today with the tigers and one tennis match to win 3units. the first week ended for me 5-6 with -3units, but i´ve got a good feeling to come back into the blacks.
