With that being said, I find it strange that you and TA have been cryptically referring to your picks lately, dropping in every now and again talking about all the winning you're doing behind closed doors. Now I find out both of you are selling picks? That's just disappointing to hear. I wish both of you the best and admit I don't know a lot about the situation, but it's unfortunate that it's come to this. I may be naive, Ralphie, but for me, it's because I always viewed pimike, shoe and TA as "men of the people" and not shady touts who were subliminally trying to lure people in to pad their bank accounts.

I'm so sick and tired of this sense of entitlement on these boards. Yes, I understand the mentality of "let's try and all beat the books" but come on. The good handicappers that give out picks for free don't have to do it. A lot of people on these threads (not specifically this one) act like posters owe them their picks for free. Nobody that posts here is a man of the people. When it all comes down to it everyone is in it for themselves. Everybody acts like going tout is the devil's work. The guys that give winning picks are providing us with a service, and is it wrong for them to get paid for it? You would pay your financial advisor without asking, but as soon as someone here tries to sell picks they're garbage.

My only question regarding this whole thing is about the emails that TA said he used to get. I'm wondering if he thinks that the nasty emails aren't going to be there when he hits a rough patch. I'd wager that there are going to be more of them now that people have to start paying for the picks.

For what it's worth though, I'm in agreement with you that something doesn't make sense if shoe says he doesn't care if they only had one SBR person buy their packages but yet him and TA continued to post strange messages here.

Unlike you, I did pay attention to both TA and shoe's picks. I never blindly tailed -- I don't do that with anyone -- but I respected their opinions, angles, etc. Now they're both gone, because of troll hate? I don't buy it.

That's why I appreciate paco and LB so much -- it's not as much about them picking winners, but they're educators for us green gamblers and they enjoy doing it without trying to be shady about luring people in to pay for their picks. I thought TA and shoe were in the same boat. Guess I was wrong.

The whole point of this forum, at least I thought, was to try and beat the books and share ideas with each other. The only money involved was the money we are trying to win -- not pay for the service of another poster. Pretty simple answer for that IMO. They know their followers will get desperate and beg for them to return. When they reveal their plan to sell picks, those poor desperate souls are.more likely to buy the package. Pretty smart business model
