its only an opinion and its baseball but i think one can chalk up the tigers recent poor performance on the fact that they are watching film preparing for the rangers and are overlooking cleve which easy to do as bad as they have been the last couple of yrs.. brandon inge leaving 7 on base all by himself hurt their chances tonight... its all history now.. lets get em sunday

To apoint that may be true dan but the Tigers has ample chances to get a win from the first three games and failed. They have another shot verses CLE before a series at home. Everyone has played, there are no excuses left - produce on the road, a win is not needed but a solid strong outing is.

Can't chase the Tigers today. While it's not Rangers/O's, the results are looking similar. No punch by the offense at all. They're making the CLE staff look like aces. Dodgers are the same way although they are playing a quality team. Both teams unable to win on the road.

absolutely TA...i hear ya.. its just an opinion like i said.. just a theory... another thing that might,might give creedence to the theory is the fact that det. may very well face texas again in the playoffs.. they are both looking like division winners at this point anyway.. long way to go though but you know its crossed both organizations minds...

The only excuse the Tigers have over the Rangers is that they are on the road. But, the Tigers have pulled this kind of July 3 years in a row now. Looking ahead to what? a probable split? Both teams will regret these series in September, especially if they are a game or 2 out. And if they somehow make the playoffs, this kind of losing stays in the back of a teams mind. Not being able to beat a team you should have handled easily. The goal is not to sweep, just to win each series and both teams lack the punch and motivation to do so.
