I'm sure he's at work like most people here at these forums. Also, when there are night games, most people are putting their finishing touches on their respective cards and watching the lines closely for any holes.

There are a few great games on tap for tonight that I will be watching..

Joyce may be well respected around the league but around here he will ALWAYS be known as the man who cost AG a perfect game. Yes, he's apologized for his mistake but it doesn't erase/remove it. As I understand it 50 players were asked to rate the umps and he was atop the list. So from that stand point, you know you're going to get a fair game and that's what's most important. He'll be greeted with a round of boos for the rest of my life when he steps between the lines - I can forgive but I can't forget.

Far as that other guy, I know his name but won't mention it, your comment is spot on and if he's at an important location for a game, I really have to double and triple check the figures to be certain it's the best call, subjected to how things are done on this end, for the game. Late, but still timely.

I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression LDK. I've posted on TA's threads for months and still do in other sports. He welcomes it and has always accomodated me. I like your picks too. Yur right , no one reads my thread either. I just did my own, cause as you can see my record is not too hot and my posts are pretty bulky.

I can verify that VegasPlayer does post in our other threads and is always welcome in them. Best thing I can say about this year's thread is that nobody has been shown the door and asked to not return - unlike last season.
