How do you really pick em
Ok, I guess you all can tell that I'm a noob at this. Trying to learn all the time. I find this is so interesting. I hear about this system or that system for picking winners. It's always been my idea that any team can beat any other team or any given night.

I listen to what folks like LT, Ganch, AC & Senator (where is he by the way?) etc, have to say & try to follow the reasoning.

Now, what are the main things you really look at in making your betting decisions? Be it the fav or UD. I try looking at the pitching era, bullpen, and home or not. What do you think?

I've not done too good at baseball (better at mma it seems) and have lost a little money. Want to do better though.

    Thanks

I look at past history of games played wherever it is taking place example home or at opponent.

I also check the win loss streak of the team if a team is losing I feel playing against them benefits me more than it hurts and vice versa if they are winning I continue to play them till they lose.

I see many folks bet a team since they feel the team has lost X amount of games and has the ace pitcher going tonight so they are due to win, I find this to be false and a setup for suckers to lose money.

I check to see how the bats have been swinging for the team, if they been connecting or not sometimes teams are just cold and in some occasions they are hot as fire and scoring is not a problem.

For pitchers I look at the last couple games to see the innings pitched vs hits runs etc...

I use wagerline.com to check the pitcher and injury stats for last couple games.
I use statfox to check pitchers ML reports, thanks DARK HORSE for showing me this.
I use sports betting stats.com to check past 20 game history of team vs team. team vs lefty or righty and so forth.

but in the end my main way of picking teams is I like to bet on teams with a pitcher the opposition never faced before. sometimes I find myself playing people like edwin jackson vs bondermam or bacsik vs johan santana but bacsik is decent IMO sometimes I lose but I seem to win more than I lose and since I play all dogs thanks to onlooker and S7 BBD I could go 2-4 some nights and still be even or slightly down but I have many nights where I go 4-2 5-1 6-1 with all dogs and kick ass so that is it for me. watch the NFL and NHL games I post if you want to see something unreal, no Shit. I wouldn't get to caugtht up in stats though as this has always fvcked me by overthinking games, keep it simple and don't jump on teams because the stats overpower one way as this has hurt me in the past. but take what I say lightly as this is my first season really playing MLB. Here's to everyone making money.

        Drftrader,

        Good question.

We could list a million and one ways, but at the end of the day, we can't control what a player does or wants to do on any given day.

        Good luck.
