That was crazy.
I'm more surprised at the fact the Cubs pen kept the Brewers off the scoreboard. To give that chance to the Cubs in the bottom of the 9th.
Another blown save in the league, wow, I'm surprised.

OUCH!
It's one thing to lose a game with a crappy bullpen, but it hurts more when one of the best closers in baseball like Cordero serves one up.
Oh well. 0-1 with four more plays tonight.

You think? I find it more painful when you see it coming a mile ahead and the MF does it again.

I began noticing something wrong with Cordero a while ago (and mentioned it in various game writeups I've done on Brewer games over the past few weeks). You can often sort of tell when a closer has an off day, as opposed to when he has begun to develop more fundamental problems. We've seen this, of course, over and over and over again, I know the names are blazed into all our memories - Lidge, Gagne, Turnbow, Guardado (remember him?), Benitez, the list goes on and on and on of course - a once-dominant closer loses it and winds up blowing or nearly blowing (the old "come in with a two-run lead, get one out, load the bases, give up one run on a sac fly, and get the third out by the skin of your teeth" story) every game he enters.
I think it may be time to consider moving Cordero over into that category? I know he's on probation with me. Opinions?

Not only did I get burned on the Cubs walk-off, but now the freakin Astros do it to me. It's been all downhill for me since that Yankees over fiasco last night!
