when i first looked at this game i thought mil was a great solid play
i dont bet alot of favorites but this looked like it cant miss
but the small line really bothered me
i though the the line should be way higher than it was around -130
i thought it should be at least 180
so like a chump i took houston thinking mil was a trap

This is an interesting point. How many times do you quickly, at first glance, look at a game and say "Team A will win"? Then to do some due diligence you spend a couple hours looking up stats, drawing comparisons, etc only to talk yourself out of going with Team A and betting on Team B. Team A wins with ease. LOL! Sometimes too much information is a bad thing.
I've started going more and more with my gut these days.

The 'one big inning' theory applies to just about every team experiencing a bad run (with Houston's bad run starting back in early April ). But the Astros have been especially susceptible to the big inning in the last week or so. Go back and check the boxscores from their games beginning last week when they opened the series in Anaheim against the Angels.

Yup I went around snooping with those damn stats and W/L pages and thats why I went with O and Blue gays. Also scared my gut instinct which was thinking both NY teams would lose also.
