I'm just amazed that Weaver managed 2 shutout innings.

I'm equally amazed that Ortiz stole 2nd.

Weaver gets out of a jam without allowing any further damage.

For as fat and slow as he is, he's the smartest baserunner on the Red Sox team. He always seems to know when to push the envelope.

Wow. Tavarez giving it away like a Dominican hooker.

Yeah, not looking good. He was cruising until he appeared to hurt his ankle in the 4th.

Boston's offense needs to wake up.

Wow. Sexson gets jammed and breaks his bat and the ball stays fair. Everybody safe. Snyder now coming in with the bases loaded and 1 out. This one could get out of hand quickly.

I'm sure he knows when to go for it. A couple of times a season.

To have a 5th starting pitcher at .500 (assuming he loses this) isn't too shabby. How's Clemens and his near $1 million a game going?

He sometimes is mid-relief nowadays Taco. So maybe we should re-figure the math to see how much per inning.

Did anyone expect him to come in and be dominant? A month ago he wasn't even signed. I'm not that worried about it. Mussina is a much bigger concern to me.

Either way, Yuniesky Betancourt is a joke. Snyder has walked two batters in a row, and he (Hitting 8th in the lineup) decides to swing at a 2-0 pitch. Are you serious?

At nearly $1 million a game, I'd expect a pitcher to win just about every single game. Not languishing with a 1-2 record on a 5+ ERA.

He wasn't signed since he was waiting for some mug club to pay him $1 million a game. Eventually he found one.
