1st and 3rd 1 out in the CWS... flyout to center... guy turns a double play and they say the run scores from 3rd even though the inning is over? Who are these umpires? What a bunch of idiots.

Yes he did. That doesnt matter man. Thats like saying on a bases loaded double play if the runner scores before the double player is recorded he scores... thats a horrible call.Comment -

The rule does not apply to forceouts, which is why run doesn't count if batter grounds into double play. But since thrd out of Cubs game was a tag play, then the run counts if it crosses before the tag.Comment
