Buddy, as the resident Brewers expert, what do you know about this Gallardo kid that's getting the ball tomorrow night?

Thank rjt, but I would be hesistant to call me an expert in anything. Actually, S7 is also from WI and he knows more about the MIL farm system than I do. However, I do know about Yivani Gallardo as Brewer fans have been talking about him for quite some time now. I am actually debating about going to the game tomorrow.
As far as is his repertoire goes he features mainly an overpowering fastball and a curveball which he'll thrown regularly but he does have some other pitches including a hard slider and changeup that move very well. His strikeout to walk ration was phenemonal and had a 188 strikeouts in only 155 innings worth of work. He did have some starts in Spring Training with the Brewers so he has an opportunity to pitched at the major league level so tomorrow shouldn't come as too big a surprise.
Not sure what to make of this line but SF is not very good and MIL is a very strong home team. I'd probably bet MIL but I've only won 4 of my last 18 bets that gives you an idea of just how strong I've been with my picks.
I am sure Senator will have some insights tomorrow on this game. I doubt he'll be on SF but may have some comments on this really hot prospect for MIL.

Wang is pitching great, as usual, so far today. I'd take him on the Braves any day, he's a very good pitcher. I hate the Yankees but am always glad to see the Mets lose, because I'm from Georgia and somewhat of a Braves fan.
That said, my main sporting interest is hockey nowadays. Though I still love the sport of baseball, it's MLB that I have some problems with.

Damn, I gotta good shot of actually winning this bet. I wrote it off after the 3rd inning at the pace it was on.

About 2 minutes after writing this post, I see the Yankees just tacked on 2 more runs. Now I gotta pray there is no more scoring.

get ready for the irrelevant run in the 9th inning:
Met runner gets on base, steals 2nd base uncontested, moves over on a ground ball or steals 3rd uncontested...scores on sac fly. That's the way these damn things always end.

BBD, as long as the yanks don't get another one here you will win your bet. Mets don't have it tonight. Look for a 1-2-3 top of the ninth.
