For Those of You That Bet Brewers wth Action Wednesday>>>
With Capuano being a very late scratch, your new line should have been in the neiborhood of Milwaukee +135. Makes sure your book did not pay you at the +110 to +115 price you originally bet the game at. Those that bet listed obvioulsy should have gotten a refund.

I say this because Capuano was scratched literally right at game time, so late that the books did not have a chance to put up a revised line for the betting public. Thus, this is only relavent to those that bet Action.

    Works for me LT

I'm sure my local will have adjusted the price when I called to check the figure in the AM.

      Dan,

Maybe not. Locals don't necessarily follow the same rules as Vegas and offshore books. Does your book even allow you to specify Action or Listed? If not, I suspect that they will always honor the line you bet the game at. And even If they do allow Action or Listed, they still may force you to keep the line you bet it at.

Your right about that LT. Some locals do use different structure.

This local I'm currently uses the Vegas rules though, so I'm sure the adjustment will be credited correctly. And yes he does allow specific action if you say it, and if not it's just the adjusted action based on the closing line.

          Dan,

There is a grey area here however, as when someone looks up the closing line on this game, they may see NO LINE because of the fact the public did not get a chance bet at a new line. This happens on the rare occasions when a starter is scratched either during or after warmups. Apparently books accomodate Action players by revising their lines to what the new line WOULD have been if they had time to put it out. It will be interesting to see what the archives list the closing line on this game at.

It all depends on your locals LT. They all have there own set of rules, and they stick to them. The ones use mainly are real pro's though, and they all subscribe to DonBest.
