D-Backs & Livan +210

I've been wrestling with this one all day. I mean the price is obviously to die for, but there's still pros & cons.

+: Mussina has not been very good this year, so Arizona should score some off him.

+: Livan has been a mixed bag of tricks on the road. Some excellent starts, some mediocre and a couple horrible ones.

-: Yanks have won 7 straight and seem to be in rhythm finally.

-: DBacks have lost 4 of 5 and are not very good in interleague play at 13-24 since '05.



Whaddya gotta say about this one?

I actually am liking the D'backs today myself. However, I do feel the over might just be the best way to play this game.

If I weren't a yankee fan, I would go with livan because of the value. Even though, I can see the yankees owning him.

When you bet you just have to drop your allegiance to your favorite team. It's difficult at first but before you know it you could care less whether they win or lose. I stopped caring about my favorite teams long long time ago....being a fan of a team can hurt you more than help you.

To the game, if you can get ARIZ +1.5 for + money then you might want to consider that. Yankees playing very well right now I am not going to try to bet against them. They can go on these type of steaks where they win 20 of 25 games. NYY is one of the few teams I don't consider to bet on or against either way very seriously when it comes to betting.

Mussina is not pitching well enough to be this much of a favorite against ANYBODY, much less one of the best teams in the National League.
