    Kyle Lohse
At first glance, the Angels with John Lackey appear to be a no-brainer selection over Cincinnati on Wednesday. However, Kyle Lohse has thrown the ball real well lately, and check out his last three starts:

    Code:
Date	Opposition	Result	IP	H	R	ER	SO	BB
    6/7/2007	@ STL	W/U	8.1	7	1	1	2	1
    6/2/2007	@ COL	L/U	6	5	3	3	3	2
    5/28/2007	PIT	W/U	9	6	0	0	2	0

    							ERA:	1.54
    							WHIP:	0.90
Lohse may give the Reds some value as a home underdog tonight.

I don't have the balls to go against Lackey tonight but, in general, I agree with this premise.

Lohse is streaky and he appears to be back on track. The problem is when to predict his "streak" to end. I could only play the Reds in this one but have decided to pass.

I thought I was the only one here that actually was liking the Reds LT. I too feel there is some value with the Reds tonight. If you just compare the last 3 starts between Loshe and Lackey. You will see just how much better Loshe's numbers have been. He has a lower WHIP,ERA,and he's even been the better work horse in those games.

I think there is value in Cincy also. After Lohse got turfed out in the first inning a few games back, he has come back to pitch pretty well.

I liked Cincy last night for some reason, but did not play them. Lohse is tempting as he's pitched well at home. But he could give up 2 runs and lose 2-0 with Lackey out there. I'm passing.

Not a good start in this game for us Reds backers.

Heres our chance guys. 0 outs and the bases juiced, and the score is not 2-1.
