Well, With all those injuries and everything else they have they are actually starting to show signs of life. After I offically wrote them off and left them for dead. The Yankees have won 7 games in a row now, and seem to be making there run back into contention.

I still say they will come up short when it's all said and done though.

I think I read in another thread that Razz said something to this effect: "6 consecutive wins against the White Sox and Pirates is nothing to get too excited about".

I'll concur with that statement and add my own to it. I think 9 consecutive wins versus the White Sox, Pirates and Diamondbacks is nothing to get excited about either. The D'Backs have been extremely fortunate in some of their wins. They are a team I am looking to fade. Pricing in the AZ-NYY series does not allow me to fade it though. Maybe in the next series.......

I wonder if anyone took the prop bet at Cris/Bookmaker about whether the Yanks would hit .500 anytime during the month of June. I think at one point it was over +200 for the yes.

I'm very happy with their play recently, mostly their pitching and Abreu coming around. It is nice to have some guys who can eat up innings for a change. The Yankees late relief is still as good as almost anyone's, as long as the starters can get in the habit of throwing 6+ every time out, they can make a run. That said, there is still plenty of room for improvement.

plenty of time left, like 100 games. they were 7.5 or so back of the Sox last year at the break.

Red Sox lookin' in the rear-view mirror. Whole lotta ball left to play, but i'm saying them poor fans in Boston get their feelings hurt again this year
