May I suggest deep-sixing the four-play minimum? Just play as many dogs as you like that night - be it one or 13! Otherwise you'd be forcing plays some nights.

I've started a fad!

I don't set a minimum number of plays per day, I just try and stick to an even number of plays. Trying to find 4 underdogs with upside and value each day is not easy.

The point is not to play every underdog on the card. The key is to pick your spots very wisely and carefully.

Let's just say that if you saw the Excel stats spreadsheet (and some on here have) I use, you would think I am a complete nerd!

4 is a goal, not a given fellas. As you said, I will not play just to play a dog. I genuinely like these 4 and actually had several others I considered. Today seemed overly doglicious.

TUES. RESULTS: 2-2 (+0.86)

Well I got that .500 result you guys preached as the expected. Had a chance for 3-1 until the Whale's Vagina bullpen imploded in the 7th against the D-Rays. Also coulda been 1-3 with Seattle's pen trying to kill me! But hey, can't complain about comin' up on the plus side ... plus I nutted an under bet on the 2nd half of the Cavs-Spurs borefest for a 3 unit win.

I still think there is value with the Jays despite their struggling offense with Bonds & Molina scheduled for off-days in SF. I expect a tight ball game and probably low scoring again with these two clubs.

Marlins were looking good. One real bad inning with bad defense to boot. KC was never in their game. Arizona was just a long shot with great odds. I was hoping for 2-2.

The card looks pretty weak for dogs my man. There are either very even #s at -105 each so far or huge differentials like the WAS-BAL & ARI-NYY game. I definitely will not be making four dog plays tomorrow from the look of it.

Still slightly behind for the week. Totals have helped me stay ahead altogether - thankfully.
