The Detroit game intrigues me...because either DET will blow TX out tomorrow or vica versa. Verlander has been struggling as of late but he is an elite pitcher and Milwood is garbage and not to mention the uncertainy with his injury. Last time out he pitcher an inning and got hammered.

However, DET exhausted their bullpen today pitching 8 innings...the good news is they allowed 1 run only but their certianty for tomorrow is questionable.

Therefore, I can see Verlander as highly motivated knowing he has to pitch at least 7 innings if not more...especially after he was ejected on Saturday in a game he didn't pitch you could see the fire in his eyes. Texas has been a money burner all year and the situation was right for them today as TX was the obvious play....against a very below average Nate Robertson. However, Verlander is not Robertson and Leyland always gets the most of his players.

I'd lean DET.....but something about this line is fishy.
