Flat Out Weird - COL/HOU Note
Wandy Rodriguez has started three times vs. COL in his career. In each of the three games, the Rockies have ended up with 5 runs.

    2005: 6-5 & 11-5 HOU wins
    2006: 5-0 HOU loss

What am I saying? COL should be good for 5 runs. That's what I'm sayin'. Normally the theory is the Astros when facing a young starter for the first time get shut down - but this is different. Hirsh is a former Astros farmhand. They should have the book on all of his stuff.

It's a big # and there's not alot in recent performance to back it up, but I'm going with the over at 10.5 for Even Odds. If the Germans can bomb Pearl Harbor, the Astros and Rockies can score runs!

    Who's with me???!

Check that - I got the Over at 10! Half a run always makes a difference.

Damn it. You used the L word. I hold you personally responsible for the consequences. LoL. If I get killed in this one, I'll change my name to Flounder because I got fried.

Or maybe Hirsh will no hit the Astros. Sheesh! I walked away from my TV for 2 minutes and the half inning was over!

I can't figure why you didn't bet on the Col team total instead.

Didn't have that option at my book. My mojo blows goat balls in baseball today.

New ways to blow scoring a run when you have runners in scoring position brought to you by HOU:

                  Houston Inning Summary
                  - L. Scott singled to center
                  - L. Scott to second on wild pitch
                  - A. Everett doubled to right, L. Scott to third
                  - J. Julio relieved J. Hirsh
                  - L. Scott picked off at third, catcher to third
                  - B. Ausmus walked
                  - M. Lamb hit for D. Borkowski
                  - J. Affeldt relieved J. Julio
                  - M. Lamb grounded into double play second to shortstop to first, B. Ausmus out at second
                  - End of Inning (0 Runs, 2 Hits, 0 Errors)

Chunk in 17 LOB by Colorado and you get 2-1 in the 7th LoL! Bad day for me.

Meh. Today had a bad vibe to it from the get go for me. I won a damn tennis bet this morning - good underdog payout, but they switched the start time on another that I missed out on who won also. I think the day was jinxed from there. Hopefully I can get back on track tomorrow.

Yeah, that sent me into a tirade myself last night, EP. My wife grounded me from watching the Astros for two days. It happens about once a week. Would happen more often, but I don't get to see all of the games due to being grounded.

That was seriously one of the worst displays of baseball I have ever seen Willie. Stros were fortunate that their pitching made enough quality pitches to wiggle out of trouble.
