Was looking at the card for tonight and I saw a couple nice things a like. There are a lot of heavy favorites tonight so it was a little harder to find some nice value tonight but this is what I came up with.
Toronto -1.5 (-120)
Can't go wrong with Halladay on the mound at home against the Devil Rays and a no name pitcher. To spite all the injuries that have plagued the Blue Jays they still sit in 2nd place, 10 back of the Red Sox. I really can't see any other way playing this game then the run line. I would be very surprised if this play doesn't come in.
Mets -140
I'll take Glavine tonight Vs Moyer at Shea. Mets have been hurting lefties this season and after coming off losing the series with the D-backs at home I like them to comeback strong tonight. Phillies are coming off a rough day game with the Giants and have really been streaky this year. I don't trust Moyer at all against the Mets lineup at home tonight and I could easily see him out of the game before or at the 5th inning.
Yankees/White Sox Over 10
Bhuerle or however you spell it has terrible numbers against the Yankees and over a 5 era against them. Clippard on the other hand has over a 4 era and is a call up this year to the majors. Clippard has shown some promise this year, however putting him on the road tonight against a decent White Sox lineup and his line can get ugly tonight. The Yankees need wins more than ever and they will be attacking against the White Sox tonight. I see like an 8-4 final in the Yanks favor.
