    Top MLB OVER Teams
    Code:
    OVER/UNDER STANDNGS (through 6/3/07)
    Rank	Team Over	Under	OV%
    1	Cleveland	32	21	60.4%
    2	Detroit 31	21	59.6%
    3	Tampa Bay	27	21	56.3%
    4	Seattle 29	23	55.8%
    5	LA Dodgers	30	24	55.6%
    5	Florida 30	24	55.6%
    5	Philadelphia	30	24	55.6%
There are a few surprises here. Tampa Bay makes the list mainly because of terrible pitching, as their offense is nothing special. Seattle is scoring a lot as of late, and this team is on the improve. The Dodgers may no longer be a "pitching first" franchise, and Florida makes the list despite playing in a pitcher's park.

I can see Cleveland being #1 on this list. There hitting barrage just is incredible this year.

I could say the same thing about Detroit though double B.

Detroit and Seattle are both likely to fall way down on this list. Remember, last year Detroit was a strong under team, and for good reason.

Cleveland will probably keep up their hot hitting, but the lines will probably also adjust accurately. I think we'll see a lot of 11s with them the rest of the way, and they'll be about 50/50.

            Ganch HG,

One of the main reasons Detroit was such a good Under team last season was they had a great BULLPEN. What a difference a year makes, as they now have the second worst bullpen ERA in all of baseball, ahead of only the White Sox. So from that perspective, the trasformation to an Over team makes sense.

Yeah but they're bound to shore up their bullpen problems this year at some point. They know they would be in the running for best team in the majors if they had a serviceable pen, and all they'd really need would be two decent setup guys, especially if Zumaya comes back in August. Decent setup guys are not hard to procure, I'd be surprised if they didn't make a move like that soon.

Seattle games have been pretty solid for over bets this season. They've got production from some unexpected people while Sexson and some others struggle. Couple that with people automatically chalking Safeco as a pitcher's park and you can get some good lines there.

Tonight is one I think w/Bedard&Felix. Over at 7.5 I like.

Nice call Eagles. We both loved the 8th inning, you for the Over and me for my Seattle play.
