I have bet Kansas City the first three games of this series just on principle alone. Even with their win yesterday, the Rays are still under .500 as a favorite this year at 7-8, -3.65 units. Meanwhile, Kansas City has been a good investment on the road, going 12-15 for a +3.83.

Lets see if Gil Meche can bounce back from that terrible performance his last outing. Shields is pretty good himself for Tampa.

With 2 outs man on third why intentionally walk norton who is a DH but stinks 24 at bats 1 HR 167 avg win pena is batting next who is 2-2 with a HR and a double.

Horrible Defense really is helping the Royals Win. You walk a guy to get to lefty left pop him up a mile high on the infield, and the ball drops without hitting a glove.

I agree with you Razz about Shields, but this was also a really high line. Meche has been good too, and TB is not a winning team, with a vulnerable pen. I think the line was about right, I don't think there was any value with TB in this one.
