Picks from the Previews 05-30 (TOTAL +3.02 Units)
Picks from the Previews 05-30 (TOTAL +3.02 Units)

Nice day on the diamond yesterday, hitting all of my plays except for the ½ unit longshot on the Tribe. I’ll take another day like that today, please! All signs were pointing to a Piston victory, too bad that didn’t work out.

YESTERDAY: +3.04 Units (TOTAL +3.02 Units)

    FLA at CHC

Mitre "Chicago's struggling bullpen gave up four runs on Tuesday, and has allowed 12 runs in 15 2-3 innings over the last five games.” And “Chicago's struggling bullpen gave up four runs on Tuesday, and has allowed 12 runs in 15 2-3 innings over the last five games.” A little take-back makes this play a go.

PICK: FLA +129 for 1 unit

    CIN at HOU
“Houston, which is hitting just .220 during its losing streak, has scored only 17 runs in those nine losses and ranks 28th in the majors with 3.9 runs per game.” The Astros are free-falling here, and for some reason are favored? I’ll roll with Harang and the Reds tonight.

PICK: CIN +106 for 1 unit

    CHW at MIN

“Morneau homered and drove in four runs on Tuesday, and is batting .423 (11-for-26) with two home runs, three doubles and 10 RBIs in his last six home games.” And “Cuddyer had three hits and scored three times on Tuesday, and is batting .542 (13-for-24) with three homers and 12 RBIs in his last six home games” Twins bats have been real hot as of late. The take-back makes this over play interesting. Here’s hoping Scott Baker allows a few runs today.

    PICK: CHW/MIN over 9 +124 for 1 unit

    NYY at TOR

Ok let me get this straight, we have “The Yankees, who also dropped seven in a row in April, have lost 13 of 18” followed by “The Blue Jays, meanwhile, have won 11 of their last 17 games” and then sprinkle in a little “New York is 0-for-13 with runners in scoring position so far in this series.” And I’m getting +149. Don’t think I have a choice. Worked well in the first two, so, once again, going with:

PICKS: TOR +149 for 0.5 Units and TOR +1.5 -103 for 0.515 units.

While we’re at it, can anyone explain the total to me? 11seems awfully high, am I missing something? Definitely leaning to the under here, just not enough to play it yet. Anyone have thoughts on this one?

Good call on the ChiSox-Twins over. Feels good to cash in on a game that's only half over!

thanks Eagles, it sure does. Ended up pretty good again today as I hit on the Fish & Reds as well. Jays let me down but you can't win them all. Hope for more of the same tomorrow
