How good is the tribe?

I don't know how you guys are doing betting on or against them this year, but I've been profiting very nicely from them this year. They have another tough series coming up against the Red Sox in Fenway this week which is the only team that might be just as hot as they are. Then after that they face Detroit again, and then face 2 cup cake series against KC and Cincy.

Just how good is the Tribe this year?

We'll know after Wednesday. They haven't had much success at Fenway recently and they are scheduled to face Schilling, Beckett and Daisuke in the series.

While it would not shock me if the Tribe get swept in Boston, that would not be as demeaning as it seems. After all, the Red Sox are probably the best team in the American League right now, although I do feel they will get a challenge from the ANGELS in the playoffs.

But back to the topic, the Indians could still be the best team in the Central even if they get swept by Boston. The key could be the Detroit bullpen. That unit was great least year, but is now dead last in pen ERA this season. If they do not turn it around, the Indians could very well pull away in the divison eventually.
