I liked Houston even with Bonds in the lineup tonight. What I don't like is the fact that Loretta is batting 3rd tonight.

Loretta had been fairly solid for them though in spot duty. He's hitting .395 on the road. With that lineup, he's the best fill-in at #3.

Giants piling it on now, but the Stros lost this in the 1st inning when Albers walked two and then with two outs uncorked a wild pitch that moved runners into scoring position. Hit scored two right after that pitch & then nada for the Stros offense.

Not sure why anyone would bet against Zito in that spot. He is a good pitcher who was shelled in his last two outings. Good pitchers recover and pitch well the third game following such embarrassments.
