Guys, I swore up and down I'd never bet on or against this team ever again this year, but I'm thinking about taking the Nats tonight.

I'd advise against it BBD. Simontacchi is going to have a very very tough time surviving this one. Lohse, he will probably be ok.

Well it's looking OK so far BBD, you got a 2-run lead. But this game will probably be a shootout, so in the 7th it will probably look very different. I did take Cin on the RL only, but most of my bet on this game is on the over.

I just think Cincinnati is going to have a 4-run inning by the 7th or so, and a few other 1-run innings. I think Cincinnati will have a 2- or 3-run lead by the 7th or 8th.

Yesterday was a different situation, IMO. Chico is a lefty, and probably marginally better than Simontacchi, who is coming off of surgery. And Lohse is also probably a bit better than Saarloos as a starter. But the line for yesterday's game (at least at first) was the same as today's.

I had Washington yesterday too. Today, they might pull it out again, but I think the over was by far the best play in this game (as it was the first 2 of the series).

My rule of thumb is, if you bet an over in baseball, and you come within 3 runs of it with a few innings left, it's ok to enter it in as a win before it's over. I've never had to change one of those to a loss, and I've been betting on baseball for well over a few months.
