I took my chances with the Sox in this one bud. I just couldn't pass up all that value even with Hudson on the hill for the Braves.

It's still too early Razz. Lets see how he looks in the next few innings.

No, I mean from watching him, his stuff is pretty good. He really had Frenchy and Renteria fooled in their ABs.

He's a capable lefty. I think he'll help this year, probably out of the pen.

I knew what you meant Razz, but it's the first time around i the lineup though. Thats what I meant be saying lets see how he does after the first few innings.

Looked like he might get out of the inning too.

                      There's another one....now 4-0.

On another note, Francona has finally figured out Hinske deserves some PT, and it's unfortunately (fortunately today) paying off.

This kid's pretty impressive. I'm not the manager obviously, but if it's my team and this kid continues like this, I'd rather have him in the rotation than Tavarez or Lester, particularly since he would be their lone lefty starter.

Tavarez - yes, but Lester's upside is far greater than Gabbard. All indications are that he's full healthy, and he should be back by mid-June. The kid's destined to be a front of the rotation starter.

I've never been particularly impressed with Lester honestly. I'm not saying Gabbard is a future Hall of Famer or anything, but his control is a lot better today than I've ever seen Lester's. Reminds me a lot of Glavine.

Kid would still have a no-hitter if Hinske was in right.

Brian McCann is a truly great hitter. Incredible AB there.

I'd love to see Okajima and Papelbon pitch the rest of this game. Please don't let Timlin, Romero, Snyder, or Piniero anywhere near this game.
