Jeez. I'm definitely against your #2, and was thinking about the Tigers as well. I do like the Twinkies a little though.

I wouldn't risk the cardinals only because it is a rookie.

Value I see right now:
ChiSox +122
Arizona +124
Mets +101
LAA +106
Not sure how many of those I might play - ChiSox probably the one I like the most right now plus it's a matinee!

A. Miller had one or two starts for DET last year or maybe he came in relief. Pitched well I remember. He has a solid fastball and the Tiger's organization thinks the world of this guy. That being the case, this should be an interesting game. Tigers have been overperforming to what their numbers suggest. Remember, almost 25% of their games have been against KC. Meanwhile, STL has underachieved. Their bats are starting to heat up somewhat.
Should be an interesting game....I am going to pass.

I think under 9 is the play in the Cards/Tigers game. As Buddy said, Miller is the top pitching prospect in the Tigers' organization. Obviously he's unproven, but the kid has filthy stuff. I like this matchup for him against a struggling STL offense at pitcher-friendly Comerica. On the other side, Looper has been one of the better pitcher's in the NL, and he has given up 3 runs or fewer in all but 1 of his outings.
I like the ChiSox and also would lean toward the Mets.
Disagree on the Nats - I like the O's in this one.

Well OWNED, I bet four MLB games today, and you are on ALL FOUR of them! Should we be worried?
I'm on Nats,Reds,Cards,Twins. Also like the last three road teams on the alt run line for just a smidgeon.
Good Luck to US!

I'm playing these today:
Cincinnati Reds
NY Yankees
Minnesota Twins
Kansas City Royals
Reds-----I think if Lohse gives them 6 (preferably 7), Reds win.
Yankees----Love getting Pettitte at the price. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think the Yankees are a very good value in this spot. When I look at their schedule, they could very easily have gotten 4 games they didn't so the under .500 record I think skews the line a bit especially coming into a fresh series.
Minnesota---Just like the price with the Boofster. Will go real light on this game.
Kansas City---I can't for the life of me understand this line. Rockies can't hit. If you get Helton out, you styme their entire lineup. Royals had a good swing in Oakland. Lets see if they can keep it up.
Having said all of the above, Fridays havent been too good to me in recent times and this is the start of interleague. Past history tells me that interleague is a little funky.

Barring some miracle, I'm going to start the day out at 0-2 between the White Sox and the Cardinals.
Hopefully, Kansas City and the Dodgers can win and make me a small profit yet tonight.

Thank you sir. Went very small on the Twins; went really big on the Royals and went a couple of units on the Yanks and Reds. Couldve been disasterous had the Royals lost but, as it turned out, it was a nice day.
