      Surprised it's not Melky, but it makes sense. Abreu is the prototypical leadoff hitter in that he sees so many pitches per AB. Being 5-7 with 3 HR career against Garland doesn't hurt either.

        He has hit Garland very well in the past. I believe it was something like .765 range. I just find it odd that he will be leading off is all.
