That is completely unacceptable. He would have been better off groving a batting practice fastball and letting Delgado put it in play somewhere. Even giving up a granny would have been better.

THe cubs' bullpen is pathetic and Lou PIniella is horrible. Marquis was pitching fine in the 6th, and they bring in those bums. Maybe he gives up two runs also, but then you don't have 4+ innings to pitch with a hsitty bullpen.
Then, with the heart of the order coming up, you leave out that bum Wuertz, pitch around Beltran to move a runner to third? They shouldve attacked endy Chavez.
