The slightest of leans towards the Reds. I will not be betting this game.

Reds. Can't bet Astros as a favorite until they start hitting, and Milton has good career numbers vs. Houston.

The over is the best way to play this game IMO. I won't be playing the game at all though.

This is one of those war of attrition games, where you have to take an unpleasant prospect; either betting on Milton or the Houston offense.

One thing in this game, though, is Cincy is loaded with lefty hitters. Griffey, Dunn, Hamilton, and Hatteberg are all lefties. That's a huge chunk of their offense right there. Rodriguez is a bit better vs lefties than righties when he is throwing well. So if Cincy sits some of those big bats, or some of them get neutralized, they could have a quiet night offensively, which leaves only a modest demand on the Houston lineup to manufacture something off of Milton. FWIW, Houston is hitting lefties better this year as well.

So I have a small lean towards Houston, but it is of course a game filled with high uncertainty.

Milton is horrible. Houston is the play.
