kinda new to bets, last night i wager on the cub $ line, and the game was suspended after 7th and finished the game this morning with the win! but it counted me as a lost?

NO! Totals and Run Lines must go nine innings (8.5 if home team ahead) to have action.

And if you have a total in a parlay it works just like a push in a parlay; you win the other parts of the parlay if they all won, and lose the whole bet if another part of the parlay lost.
