May Day Yankee Favourites in Arlington

Considering a wager on the NYY run line as both a Texas fade and in consideration of NYY being able to focus on their game a little better now that the whole Boston circus thing is over and they're on the road.

New York's been struggling on the road, but I see this as a matchup where they might take advantage of a struggling Loe and Ranger squad with a bit of a bust out.

I respectfully disagree checkerboard. I find value with Texas in this game. The Yankees are really struggling right now, and Texas does win at a pretty good clip this year.

I think Hughes will have a lot more success this time around, but frankly, I don't know how anyone could take the Yankees as road favorites against all but the dregs of MLB right now, and I don't think Texas qualifies. Abreu makes the offense go, and the way he's hitting, that kills A-Rod, which in turn makes the lineup only slightly above average.
