    Texas tomorrow
    980 Texas -115

Strange game time tomorrow....but whatever. Washburn is washed up, Padilla not much better but still servicable...Texas at home off a loss. They fall into a good situation tomorrow. I'll take Texas.

    Anyone else...

I haven't looked at anything for tomorrow yet BB, but just comparing pitchers, I would have to say thats a good price for Padilla throwing at home.

I don't exactly see any value with Texas here. I don't like either team in this one, I think the line is about right. If it moves a lot either way I think the other side will have value.

Padilla has had a really questionable start this year. Yes he threw a good one against Boston in his only home start this year, and that does mean something. But he is having major control problems. 6 Ks and 13 BBs in 24 innings so far is not going to get it done. If he has control problems again tomorrow, Seattle will take him deep multiple times when he tries to get it over the plate. You might see a 3-inning, 7-run type of outing tomorrow.

Washburn obviously is just as questionable, but if Seattle becomes a bit of a bigger underdog, I'll probably take them. I doubt they will though.

How high a number would you need on Seattle to bite HG? +118?

Yeah, about +115, where they are now. I'll put a modest amount on them. If it goes higher I'll put a little more, but I'd be surprised if it did.

It's also raining in Texas, which makes an explosion against Padilla less likely.

Well so much for that debate. I was monitoring the lines, measuring my bets, the line was up to the very last minute, then it gets called.
