Mariners/Angels under 9 -125: The Angels have scored a total of 4 runs in their last 5 games, and I don't think things will get better tonight, especially if Vlad Guerrero, who is questionable, doesn't play. Even if Guerrero suits up, with no one else in the lineup producing, he will likely not see any pitches to hit. LAA will also be without 2B Howie Kendrick because of a broken bone in his hand. Prior to his injury, Kendrick was the team's hottest hitter.

Adding:

Toronto +115: Not a big fan of Burnett or Carbrera. Both have great stuff but are far too inconsistent. However, even with all their injuries, I can't pass up the Jays at this price.

D'Backs +103: No reason why San Fran should be favored with Russ Ortiz against a very good Arizona team and a solid pitcher in Doug Davis. I think Ortiz gets hammered against his former team.

I think the reason for this might be because SF has some astounding record at home vs lefties over the past bunch of years. I don't remember what it is or how far back it goes, but it was at least for 2 years or so, and it was a shocking record. Not to say I like SF here, but I bet that's part of the reason. They opened as a dog, and got pounded into a fave.
