Baseball..good then bad

any insight here would help..the first two weeks of baseball were as good as they get.. i could hardly lose.. the last 10 days have been the exact opposite.. anyone else had this happen.. any theorys

Me I cant seem to get ahead in baseball, win one, lose one seems to be my pattern right now. Of course it might be due to the fact that I havent done enough homework on the teams this year.

If you flip a coin 10x the "50-50 avg" may not hold true but flip it 100x the "avg" will move to 50-50 even more so at 1000 flips. "Law of Large Numbers"

gotcha, thanks... but don't you guys also think it has to do with the books not giving accurate value to certain pitchers/teams the first couple weeks?

No doubt the lines (Bookies) get better later into the season.

My point, most bettors are no better than 50-50 (coin flip) picking gms. Thats why the vig will beat us, however, poor money management is our worse enemy. IMHO
