    Thoughts on Cubs/Padres tomorrow?
Liking Maddux and the Padres. Sori won't be playing (as if he has mattered anyhow) Curious what you guys think.

Also like the match up against Miller who has been awful thus far. SD's hitting should get back on track. Already placed a wager on the game.. curious if I should add the 5 innings line. How has SD's pen been so far this year?

Pad's pen is the best in baseball.

I like the Fathers here as well. Personally, I wouldn't play the 5 innings line. I think the chances of the Padres leading after 5 innings and losing are much less than the chances they trail after 5 innings and win. As rjt said, SD's pen is very good, top 3 in the majors by anyone who knows what they're talking about.

Sweet. I thought they were pretty damn good but I have found yahoo's numbers are out of date sometimes. Anyone have a good site to compare pens that is updated daily?

Padres. They should bounce back and hold down the Cubs lineup.

I'm watching the gamecast on my computer at work. What was it a ground rule double?

Sht. Greene struck out. They better score here.

Nah....it bounced absolutely perfectly to the RFer. Cameron would have made it easily if the bounce wasnt so good. Padres are 3-19 with RISP. Not many times teams will win the game with numbers like that, but we will see.

Yeah, it should be a good one. This is by far his biggest test. I don't have any action on the game, just going to sit back and enjoy it.

Yeah, I am going to just sit back and enjoy the game too.

Freaking gold glove play at second to prevent yet another run for San Diego. This game is frustrating me to high hell.

They are now 3-21 with RISP, gotta believe this one will be over sooner than later... the Cubs have some pop in their game...can end it with one swing.

Really liking the Yankees over tonight .

SD game going into the 13th. They have their 2, 3, 4 hitters coming up. I say they score this inning.

No strong opinion either way on the Yanks/Clev total. Westbrook has actually pitched very well against NY in his career. I know absolutely nothing about the kid pitching for the Yanks tonight.

Padres and their backers got lucky on this one. They ended up I believe 4-23 or 4-24 with RISP. Absolutely awful for a team with good bats. But, as Razz said earlier in a post, SD's pen one of the best.. .they held up beautifully.

Actually, I think their lineup is garbage other than Cameron and Adrian Gonzalez. Not a good sign when Khalil Greene is your 5 hitter.

I think the D'Backs (-114) with Brandon Webb are a very strong play over SD on Wednesday. The Pads had to use all of their top 4 relievers today, including Meredith, Linebrink and Brocail for 2 innings each. David Wells will have pitch deep into the game tomorrow for them to have a chance, and I don't think he is capable of that at his age. He is also coming off a terrible performance against the Dodgers.

+6 units on the day, just added a unit on the Rockies against SF tonight. I agree with your play on Webb, will be taking a look at things tonight when the lines come out.

Just watched D-Mats get out of that jam... he really had no control at all and this isn't the first time we've seen this. Was actually in the bathroom for the catch Coco made, but apparently it was very deep and could have been a HR. Still, yet again, he is keeping us in the game and has every start he's made and that's the first thing we need from him... quality starts.

To clarify, I am new to this board so I am not sure the rules. However, one board I was on in the past did not want people commenting about how many units they won or lost unless the play was posted prior to the game.

I won three units on the Pads this AM as discussed in this thread, and three units on the Yankees over 10 runs as discussed in the thread titled "AM GAME"

Razz~ Thanks for the word on the Pads pen Razz... also that website is bad ass and I appreciate that. Have a good day today?

RJT ~ Yep, on the Twins as well. I really like your prediction with the AZ game tomorrow as the Cubs pen is just about done... apparently they will be calling up a player from the minors for middle relief for the game. Hopefully this one comes in, then we can chat about tomorrow! Really really liked the Yanks over today, was going to press my profit from the AM game, but the line had shifted a tad too much for my liking by that point.

D-Mats looked good again, not amazing, but another solid outting against a good hitting Blue Jays team. No run support for him. I am liking what I see from him thus far though ~ no complaints here.
